WiMAX Test In May 2006, LitePoint delivered the world’s first single-box WiMAX test solution, demonstrating continued leadership in the deployment of complete test solutions for emerging wireless technologies, there when you need them. SISO/MIMO-ready Test System LitePoint IQmax® Wireless Test System is tailored to the needs of volume manufacturing and Design Verification Test (DVT) for WiMAX and WiFi devices. A range of LitePoint IQmax models allows for complete coverage of these standards in a single test station maximizing capital equipment utilization and flexibility. IQmax supports multiple standards including WiMAX (802.16d/e), WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth (1.0 and EDR), and ZigBee (802.15.4). Multi-Stream MIMO-ready Test System The system interfaces with the device under test (DUT) RF ports through its integrated VSA and VSG subsystems. IQmax offers focused coverage to maximize performance of the key communications frequency bands while minimizing costs. It supports the 2.15 to 2.7 GHz, 3.3 to 3.8GHz, and 4.9 to 6.0 GHz frequency bands. Complete WiMAX and Multi-Standard Wireless Test Solutions By utilizing wide bandwidth digitizing in a capture-once-measure-all architecture, the IQmax one-box tester is the ideal wireless test solution supporting product requirements for WiMAX and other wireless standards. Four Different Models Fit Your Needs SISO/MIMO-Ready Models- IQmax-300 Integrated WiMAX/WiFi test system
- IQmax-100 WiFi-ready WiMAX test system
- IQmax-50 WiMAX-only test system
Multi-Stream MIMO-Ready Model- IQmax-750 Multi-Stream MIMO-ready WiMAX/WiFi system with Baseband I/O
IQmax Link-based Test Unit The LitePoint IQmax Link-based Test Unit is designed to enable linkbased testing of WiMAX DUTs when connected to an IQmax Test System. WiMAX subscriber stations are typically designed to operate with a connection to a base station, although chip suppliers may provide a special test driver to allow testing without a link being established. In the cases where the DUT requires a “live” link to be present to test and calibrate the receiver and/or transmitter section, the IQmax Link-based Test Unit along with the IQmax Test System must be used.
