In our R&D group in Copenhagen, you will be part of a team that develops leading edge wireless test equipment for the growing WLAN, WiMAX and UWB markets. Though you will be part of a team both in Sunnyvale, California and Copenhagen, you will also be working independently and setting your own priorities. The scope and complexity of your projects will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills.
Litepoint RF engineers specialize in advanced RF designs as those utilized in wireless test equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop state of the art 0.5 to 6GHz RF modules. You will also be responsible for selecting all of the components required in your design. Key Job ResponsibilitiesRF design, layout, simulation, characterization, debug, qualify and document radio solutions in the 1 to 6GHz frequency range Research, evaluate, summarize, and recommend components for use within our products. Effectively communicate with the various component sale representatives Participate in defining system specifications and then deriving system, module, and board specifications
Qualifications BSEE or MSEE desired Successful completed multiple product projects that have become sellable products. Proven ability execute your own layouts (Pads) Experience with commercially available simulation and verification software packages Experience with software that controls test hardware systems. Examples of software packages include Visual Basic, VEE or Lab View Knowledge of digital signal processing functions and sampling theory A working knowledge of digital and analog control loops
Desired: Developed RF amplifiers, VCOs, mixer, and filters Developed RF modules utilized in Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, and Signal Generators
