System Architect

You will be part of a team in Copenhagen that defines and develops cutting edge wireless test equipment for the Cellular, WLAN, WiMAX and UWB markets. As a key contributor you will be expected to take on a leadership position within the organization referring to the Managing director of the Danish office and the R&D responsible in Sunnyvale, California.

System architects are responsible for new product system architecture, determine system specifications, and deriving detail hardware, software, and firmware module descriptions.  System architects are also fully contributing development engineers within their area of expertise and held responsible for integrating the various modules into a complete solution. Your primary area of focus will be to develop state of the art 0.5 to 6GHz wireless test solutions.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work with customers, Chief Technology Officer, and engineering staff to develop new products designs and system specifications in a timely manner.
  • Derive system, unit, module, and board level specifications based upon customer feedback, your industry expertise and third party industry analysis.
  • Effectively communicate requirements to all members of the engineering staff and customers.
  • Design and implement hardware, system software, firmware and application software.  Multi-expertise is highly desired 

Qualifications

  • MSEE desired or BSEE
  • Proven ability to think out side of the box
  • Proven ability to summarize even the most complex concepts into a set of understandable product requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of CDMA, GSM, 802.11a/b/g, 802.16d/e, and Bluetooth market trends and standards
  • Understanding of telecommunication theory
  • Radio Frequency knowledge and application experience
  • Successfully completed solutions that have been gone into production.
  • Experience with firmware
  • Experience developing system software
