Firmware engineers are responsible for developing the software required to control our 0.5 to 6 GHz wireless test equipment. Key Job Responsibilities- Develop embedded firmware
- Develop automated test scripts to exercise the firmware and hardware. These test scripts should be able to isolate problems in the desig
- Track and implement design improvements and version control
- Develop design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF/logic designers, and implement these in a timely and high quality manner
Qualifications- 5 years experience developing embedded firmware in C/C++
- 3 years Linux kernel/application experience
- 3 years Windows DDK experience
- Experience with drivers for USB, Ethernet, PCI, etc.xperience with Visual Studio C/C++
- Understand and have implemented Design for Test concepts
- Experience with developing automatic software test benches
- Experience with MatLab operation and programming
- Strong individual contributor with a strong sense for quality of work
- Exposure to GUI development desired
- Ability to understand how to properly control RF and logic circuit desired
