LitePoint Delivers Platform for Testing MIMO in WiFi or WiMAX Environment

The first LitePoint IQnxn^plus test system to roll off its production line has been shipped to XRONet, a Korea-based Mobile WiMAX solution provider. Like its IQnxn predecessor, the new system can be configured in up to a 4-by-4 configuration for advanced MIMO testing. MIMO using WiFi has been increasing in popularity since 802.11n. With IQnxn^plus, users have a single platform that can be used for testing MIMO in a WiFi or WiMAX environment.

LitePoint Expands European Presence

LitePoint cut the ribbon on its new European office and development laboratory in Allerød, Denmark. With the new office, LitePoint will be expanding already existing activities, and hiring more engineers. "We have made these changes for several reasons. It closes our value-chain loop in Europe bringing support much closer to our European customers, and it puts us in the center of Europe's cellular activities as we gear up to pursue the converged wireless market," said Jan Bo Nielsen, managing director of LitePoint Europe (left).

Alereon and LitePoint Show Most Advanced USB Reference Design and Test

Alereon, a provider of advanced WiMedia and wireless USB silicon solutions, and LitePoint demonstrated the most advanced wireless USB reference design and test capability that spans development, device verification, and high-volume production, at the recent Consumer Electronics Show. Beceem and LitePoint Put Mobile WiMAX Wave 2 to the Test at CES

Beceem demonstrated with LitePoint real-time testing of the Beceem BCS200-based WiMAX Wave 2 reference designs, also at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. Testing was done on LitePoint's IQmax wireless-test-solution platform.
