Software Development Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop design verification and turnkey manufacturing test software solutions for wireless technologies such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, and Cellular leading to ongoing optimization of customer solutions
  • Work closely with industry leading semiconductor partners, ODM's and OEM's to implement new and optimized test methodologies to accelerate time to market for key Tier1 and Tier2 customers
    • Own responsibility of deployment of LitePoint test software in high volume manufacturing environments performing build, release, and documentation activities as well as support
  • Perform customer specific customization, software debug, assistance in optimizing and integrating software
  • Bug tracking and resolution with technical project documentation

Qualification

  • 4+ years experience in C and VC++ programming
  • Windows GUI, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Visual Basic, VMWare Fusion and Linux knowledge will be an advantage
  • BSEE/BSCS required (MSEE/MSCS desired)
  • Test software development experience is a plus 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and SW debugging skills required
  • Good system level debugging skills are an advantage
  • Wireless system knowledge is a definite advantage
  • Driver development experience desired
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple projects to completion on schedule in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Field support experience, willing to travel occasionally across geographical boundaries
