Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking a product marketing manager to lead multiple product lines managing all aspects of the product life cycle from product definition, engineering development, through sustaining.  The candidate should have five or more years of experience in product marketing of wireless semiconductors, test and measurement, or capital equipment industries.  This role requires very close coordination between sales, business development, and engineering teams.

The product marketing manager should be comfortable working very closely with engineering and driving key product related decisions related to product implementation and schedule.  Qualified applicants should have a breadth of knowledge ranging from a detailed understanding of wireless systems implementations to product launch processes and sales development.  LitePoint values employees who are used to a “hands-on” management style in small teams and can make decisions quickly and intimately participate in implementing those decisions.       

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Development of product business plans, product definition, launch plans
  • Sustaining marketing activities for existing products
  • Sales coordination including sales strategies, forecasting, internal and external collateral development and pricing
  • Coordination with engineering manager(s) to establish project schedules and manage timeline / feature decisions
  • Ownership of all product attributes including software features, measurement capabilities, and related
  • Coordination with manufacturing and operations team to ensure cost targets are met and production schedules are lined up with engineering schedules   

Qualifications

  • In depth knowledge of product marketing processes including needs identification, market analysis, product development, and product launch
  • 5+ years experience in marketing products in the semiconductor capital equipment, wireless semiconductor devices, or test and measurement industries
  • Excellent communication skills with particular focus on verbal presentation
  • Working knowledge of wireless measurement principles including power measurement, distortion measurements, and modulation quality
  • Hands on experience with common wireless test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and vector network analyzers
  • BSEE or equivalent technical degree with 5 years of related experience
