IQwave 30-Day Evaluation

Experience the full set of advanced features of LitePoint IQwave by downloading an evaluation version of the Windows-based LitePoint IQwave WLAN Waveform Generator Software. This full-featured evalutation version generates a MATLAB-compatible file of the user-specified time-domain complex waveform as well as views in the time domain and frequency domain. The IQwave User Manual is included as part of the download and is accessible by clicking Help from within IQview.

IQwave generates 802.11a/b/g/n transmit test signals at either RF or baseband. The user can specify the characteristics of the data packet and select the 802.11a/b/g/n data rate, modulation type, and specific RF channel or baseband output.

 IQwave can model impairments caused by a particular transmitter's modulator and/or the channel, including:
  • Phase Noise
  • Power amplifier non-linearity
  • I/Q amplitude imbalance
  • I/Q phase imbalance
  • I & Q channel DC offsets
  • Sample rate offset
  • Carrier frequency offset
  • Eb/N0
  • Channel Impulse Response -- flat, ETSI HiperLAN/2 Models A-E, or user-defined.

IQwave can also model additional impairments caused by a receiver's demodulator, where the waveform after demodulator impairments is assumed to be fed as a baseband signal to the receiver under test.
