How do I control Bluetooth® Low Energy Direct Test Mode with my LitePoint tester?

LitePoint provides application software known as IQfact+. IQfact+ is a test manager that runs on the PC and control both the tester and the DUT. The tester is controlled via Ethernet. For Bluetooth® Low Energy applications, the most common method to control the DUT is through a 2-wire UART, so the PC normally has a USB to UART adapter.

IQfact+ supports Bluetooth® Low Energy “2-byte” commands (used by vendors such as Nordic) and “hci commands” used by vendors such as Dialog, TI and many others.
